Medical Director

Dr. Minor is our Medical Director and a pain management expert specializing in multidisciplinary (bio-psycho-social) pain management therapies. In his practice, Dr. Minor combines innovative diagnostic and therapeutic services with disciplines such as pain psychology therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, biofeedback, and others, to help the patients achieve their back-to-work or lifestyle goals. Dr. Minor’s unique holistic approach helps patients not only achieve their goals, but also empowers the patient with tools to manage their own health and improve their quality of life outside of the doctor’s office.

Dr. Minor is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management and Interventional Pain Medicine. He is Medical Director of the LA Pain and Wellness Institute and founder of Samaritan Tower Surgery Center. Dr. Minor currently has privileges at Samaritan Tower Surgery Center, Good Samaritan Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Minor obtained his graduate Medical Degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago and his Postgraduate Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, Dr. Minor specializes in EMG/NCV, is a Qualified Medical Examiner for the State of California and is an Independent Medical Examiner, as well as a Medical Expert Witness for plaintiff and defense cases.

Dr. Minor has managed multidisciplinary inpatient and outpatient programs in Texas, Arizona and California, is a past President of the California Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is a Member of California Society of Industrial Medicine & Surgery
